Many of the new visitors of Thailand are interested in – whether is it true that in this country they have drugs and death penalty. True. There is even an informing board which says that the importation of drugs into Thailand is punishable by death. Those who do not believe in the seriousness of this statement may read the official document, which outlines all aspects of criminal prosecution for the importation, possession, drug trafficking and for their use. But this is not the case. On Beach Road, in fact, you can if you want to buy drugs – to immediately satisfy the hook on the police. Prices are – 9 – 10 U.S. per box of marijuana, then $ 1000 a police officer to let go. And, as a rule they are quite decent, but are not of some type of anti-social scum. However, the Thai authorities tighten the screws. Cigarettes do not see the open windows of stores (they are hidden behind the metal shutters). In many public places smoke is even forbidden. And if Pattaya is still full of smoke, it is presumably not for long.

With cigarettes in Thailand there’s a full tube the thing is that tobacco is of bad quality and is thus more expensive than almost everywhere else. But to complain about it all the same that complain about the imperfection of the world. We can only accept and tolerate. We’ve decided to get rid of this habit, so as not to suffer during the next trip to Pattaya in search of a normal cigarette (and they are sold on the streets – smuggled goods from Cambodia).

At the end of this little story, note – there are things that are better not to even try. Never in my life.
