One of the best ways to enjoy the rest with the family in Thailand is to visit parks. Well, of course Thailand has a long list of them, but the fact that some of them worth of more attention is obvious. Thus let’s turn to 3 of the most interesting ones.

Phuket Fantasea


Phuket Fantasea is located on the shores of Ala (Kamala Beach), on the western part of the island. This is a unique Thai Theme and amusement park. The park covers an area of 56 hectares; it can be divided into 3 parts: First, the Festival and Village. There are many shops and stalls here thus you can buy various souvenirs starting from Thai crafts up to thematic souvenirs. Walking down the park you can find lots of representatives of the Thai of various years, as all houses are built in different styles and do not resemble each other.

For children there is the cave of Umana (Hanuman’s Lair) – monkey god. Here the younger visitors will get surprised with the tons of games. Parents can also rest in a restaurant, open-air Kamala Pier beer garden, there’s beer and snacks, and an abandonment of the pleasant music. This part of the park hosts various events, festivals, festive procession and the excellent fabulous restaurant Golden Kinnaree Restaurant. The overall interior of the restaurant leaves a bright impression as here everything is gilded. Everywhere the visitors can have a look at the various pictures and sculptures of the mythical creature – half-human and half-bird, in honor of which the restaurant was named after. The restaurant offers not only Thai cuisine, but also cuisine of other countries of the world: traditional continental, Italian, Indian, Japanese, etc.

Another impressive thing of the park is the “Elephant presentations” shows at the Palace of the Elephants. The palace itself is built with the Thai design and there are extraordinary sculptures of elephants almost everywhere. One of the parts of the presentation is devoted to the elephants, they are doing a variety of stunts, dance and disappear with the help of the magician. Also, the show involves other jugglers, athletes, gymnasts and clowns. This is a wonderful blend of Thai cultural traditions and ultramodern technologies of La ace. The park also includes musical fountains.

Mini Siam


Park is a smaller works of architectural creations from different times and nations, gathered in one single spot. Park is divided into two parts and was created about 20 years ago.
