Discover Diving in Chumpon

Some people cannot imagine their lives without traveling and that is not surprising because travelling is probably number one natural born killer of monotony.  If you are one of those travel freaks then I am going to join in and check out this post.

Thailand is probably one of few countries which you can visit just on the spot, without the need of being loaded with extra luggage or something like that. A couple of shirts, a swimsuit, jeans, sunglasses and sun cream – this is probably all the tourist should worry about.

Another legendary spot in Thailand is the Thai province of Chumpon, which extends along the western coast of the Gulf of Siam, located right in the heart of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The distance from Chumpon to Bangkok makes four hundred kilometers and it can easily be reached by bus, train or a ferry.  The province Chumpon is famous for its abundance of beautiful unspoiled beaches, national parks and picturesque mountains. This place until now retains its natural wealth in the pristine beauty and considered to be one of the most suitable for those seeking a place for a quiet and secluded relaxation.

But this place is a true discovery for all diving enthusiasts and these places are well known to lovers of diving. The underwater world is very beautiful and diverse, in the clear waters of the sea you can see exotic turtles, beautiful coral reefs, populated by millions of colorful, tropical fish.  You can execute dives right here or on a nearby island of Koh Tao, which is just 40 minutes away by boat.

The city Chumpon also has many attractions that are worth a look. For example visiting the National Museum of Chumpon you can learn about the history of the province from prehistoric times to the present day. Another interesting place is the Buddhist Temple Wat Chao Fa Sala Loi located about eight kilometers from the city center; there are statues of Buddhist monks and one of Buddha where you can get acquainted with the history of Buddhism.

Well noting can be compared with a pleasure of travelling, so grab your chance to get unique and unforgettable travel experience in Thailand.
